Treaty 4 artist Kris Alvarez is lucky to make relationships while making art with great neighbours like Curtain Razors, Globe Theatre, Artesian, Common Weal, Sum Theatre, Persephone, Dunlop Art Gallery and her chosen family, FadaDance!
Kris loves being in theatre spaces making work (Burnt Sienna Blvd, Acknowledging) and performing (Bad Blood, Carmen Angel, Reasonable Doubt, Making Spirits Bright, Bright Half Life).
Kris loves to play! Sharing Wee Folk with FadaDance many years ago, Kris is very happy that this unique introduction to dance for our youngest dancers continues on with Kris and her daughter, teacher Zoë James!
Kris gratefully continues being part of the Fada teaching team, integrating her theatre toolbox to help with events (Little Big Show), sharing her experiential learning by supporting newer teachers, and dreaming up other early years possibilities (Golden Wee Folk).
