Zoë James possesses an artistic and magnetic personality, whose love of play fuels her story-making imagination. For the past 13 years, Zoë has danced with FadaDance, including 4 years as a member of the Youth Company. She is grateful for the training & mentorship she has received through her assistant to teacher journey. This year will be her third year as a teacher at Fada.
Zoë graduated from high school in 2022, and has spent the last two years learning more about herself and the world. She has travelled to many places from Mexico to a few places in America, and more recently, to Europe. In addition to her travel experiences, she has been fortunate to be part of a couple inspiring performance projects. Zoe had the pleasure of being part of Acknowledging, a collaborative project between Kris Alvarez and Misty Wensel, looking at the relationship humans have to the land with regards to land acknowledgements. An ongoing show she is part of is Burnt Sienna Boulevard, a family-oriented, all ages version of Kris Alvarez's variety show Burnt Sienna. In both of these projects she makes use of her dance and singing skills, as well as further developing them.
Although she may not know what her future holds, she does know how much she loves Fada and is so excited to share her love of dancing with new (and old) dancers!
