Elianna Hay

Elianna Hay is a passionate dancer and mover who has been dancing with FadaDance since she was only three years old. In her past sixteen years at FadaDance, Elianna has taken part in contemporary and technique classes under the guidance of many fantastic FadaDance teachers. She especially enjoys coming up with new choreography, collaborating with other dancers and working to perfect techniques. Elianna enjoyed her years with the Youth Company where she performed in Get on The Bus (2019), Moving Pictures (2021) and Arrivals/Departures (2022). Elianna completed her final year with the Youth Company in the beautiful performance of Holloway & Rivulets in April 2023. In October 2023, Elianna travelled to Toronto with the Youth Company, where she had the opportunity to learn the traditional Kathak dance form under the guidance of Joanna De Souza. Elianna is grateful to have performed a beautiful piece created by Joanna in Unravel & Thread in April 2024. She also took part in this show as an emerging artist by creating and performing a duet with Zoё James. Elianna is currently completing a Biology degree at the University of Regina and is excited to continue dancing as she continues her studies.

With the inspiration she has gathered from her amazing dance teachers as well as her own dance style developed over the years, Elianna cannot wait to share dance with young FadaDancers and help them to gain skill, confidence and creativity through their dancing!
